He joined Mitsubishi Trust and Banking Corporation (now Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation) in 1997, where he was involved in private banking, corporate sales, and structured finance. He later moved to the Corporate Planning Division, where he led initiatives in alliance strategy and real estate investment business planning. After a secondment to MUFG, he was appointed Deputy General Manager of the Digital Planning Division in 2021, where he focused on new business development, collaboration with startups, and driving digital transformation (DX). In April 2024, new business initiatives were reorganized and integrated into the Frontier Business Development Division, and in April 2025, he was appointed General Manager of the division.
