In 2005, Shin joined Chuo Aoyama Audit Corporation (currently PwC Aarata LLC), where provided audit services based on Japanese GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS as well as consulting services such as accounting conversion, accounting/operation system implementation and BRP for domestic and foreign financial institutions. Since 2020, Shin had been a partner in PwC Aarata LLC and mainly responsible for providing various services to banks, securities companies, and investment banks. In 2022, Shin joined a domestic crypto exchange company as Group CFO, head of finance and head of internal control and experienced crypto-asset-related work.
